This week at the 52 Christmas Card Challenge we are looking for those pretty Christmas papers we stash away and never use. I made 2 versions of my card. The first version, I used a classic patterned paper with gold and black, but the end result, while pretty, don’t look like a Christmas card so I remade it using my favourite patterned paper by Carte Bella and suede paper by Paper Wishes. I am not sure if it is still being made, so I have my own little stash of it in various colours. To made my first card I used the standard-setting provided with the High Heel SVG download by The Dreaming Tree. I downloaded the file to my computer, uploaded the design to Design Studio and cut out the pieces using my Cricut. The first card is A2 4.25 x 5.5. For the second card, It was just so darn pretty I had to create it in a 5 x 7 size. Vs using the 4 petal flowers included, I opted to resize the poinsettias from The Dreaming Tree, Poinsettia Planter/Christmastime Bundle to make the card more “Christmasy”. Note: Currently this card is being offered as a free download and they even have a full assembly video sailable.
