Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge 504 - Embossing (Wet or Dry)

This week at Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge we are looking for a card with Wet and/or Dry Embossing. I opted for Dry embossing on my card. For today's card I made a Snow Globe Box Card SVG design by My SVG Hut. I used embossing folders on the globe base, and for the background of the box. The designer has many versions for this same snowglobe, with one that you use a photo as the background.

Simply Create Too Challenge 163 - Black & White + 1 Other Color

Image may contain: text that says "9 Am On The Design Team At Simply Create Too!"

For this month's Simply Create Too Challenge we would like you to try to create a project using Black and White and a "POP" of another colour. I made a quick and easy purse card from My Scrap Chick. When I first was thinking about this card a solid B&W card looked flat. That is when I thought of using patterned paper. It gave my card that added punch. I used gold the highlight the purse hardware. The paper was from my stash. I used small magnets to keep the purse closed. The
SVG file I used is called Purse Card - Satchel. I made it using my Cricut Explore Air.

Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge August 2020

For this month's Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge I went back to my favourite colouring medium, Derwent Inktense Watercoloured pencils. I used numerous stamps from Stampendous - Beauty Face, Bowl Bouquet, Lovely Garden, Cling Build A Bouquet Stamp, and Cling Rose Bouquet. I first stamped the face onto patterned paper from my stash, coloured the eyes and lips with markers, then stamped and watercoloured the flowers. Once dry, I fussy cut them out and arranged on the face, The achieve dimension, I used foam tape. The sentiment is from the same Michael's brand paper pack.

Join us each month and let's use some of your patterned paper hoard!
