This week’s challenge at Crafty Hazelnut’s Christmas Challenge is to make a card for someone special. I have always loved Terriers. The Scottie Dog to me is the most recognized terrier silhouette. I own a little Westie. In my lifetime, I have owned an Airdale, Irish, 3 Yorkies, and now a Westie.

52 Christmas Card Throwdown Challenge – 52CCT36-19 – Technique Challenge – Easel or Tri-fold Card

This is my final challenge for September. I am ending with the Technique Challenge. There are many fabulous YouTube, Pinterest, Google tutorials about how to make an Easel or Tri-fold card. If you have any questions, please feel to contact me directly.
For my card, I broke out my Cricut and a great SVG Easel card by My Scrappy Chick called Snowman and Friend. The sentiment is from Penny Black. I inked the edges of the white cardstock on the snowman to give him a little more dimension.
I look forward to seeing everyone’s take on a multi-folded card.

My pick for the theme I picked my favourite subject, bears! If you mix that with Christmas it is even better. I look forward to seeing all your GRRRReat bears this week.
I started with picking Bartholomew is from Whipper Snapper Designs and is adorable! Even his name is adorable, right! I coloured him with Copics, fussy cut him out.  I had this pre-printed perfect sentiment, then I paired it with a map of the north.

Crafty Hazelnut’s Christmas Challenge 456 – 21 September include the word Joy

Another great challenge from Crafty Hazelnut’s Christmas Challenge. This week we are looking for the word Joy to appear somewhere on your project. I used my Cricut Explore Air and a cute SVG from My Scrappy Chick’s, Everyday Girl Snowflake. I made one small mistake and missed one piece of her hair, however, I think it looks fine as is. I created the sentiment on my computer and outlined it for a more funky feel

52 Christmas Card Throwdown Challenge – 52CCT33-19 – Sketch

Hello everyone, Myrna here. I am in charge of September Challenges. For my first challenge, I have created a sketch. I used a stamp and die set from Stampedous called, Owl be Home. I coloured the image with Copics. I stamped the branch on the main card front and the owls on a separate page. I die cut out the owls with the matching dies. I made a half-circle, then cut the branch along the edge and inserted the circle behind the branch. I added the owl family to the branch, 2 ribbons and stamped the sentiment.

Simply Create Too – Challenge #153 – Sept. 6 to Sept. 27 – AG/No Twist

1 Simply Create 2 DTThis month the Simply Create Too Challenge #153 is to make a card/project with no twists! I needed to make an extra special Happy 40th Birthday card. I  found a great SVG file called 30 Candles from 3DCuts. The SVG template can be made to any size card. I added an additional 40 candles. I made the card using my Cricut machine and thought it would be a fairly simple and fast card to make, but in the end, there were over 245 pieces!

Here at Crafty Hazelnut’s Patterned Paper Challenge, we challenge you to use patterned paper in your project. If you are like me, I buy a lot of patterned paper, but never use it. What are you waiting for! I have all the MFT Blueprint Dienamics. They were specifically designed to help the maker create fun card layouts. I used MFT #3 Blueprints for my card design and added a Copic coloured stamped image called Bear Bunny from Hambo.
