This week at Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge, we are looking for something with Christmas or New Year theme. For this challenge I made a 3D Santa Mandala by Okadee SVG.Design Bundles. There are 14 layers to this card, but it turned out beautifully. I used various shades of gray-black, pink-dark red, yellow and white cardstock.

Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge 519 - Quick and Easy
This week at Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge 519, we are looking for a quick and easy cards. I used a simple SVG from My Scrap Chick, called Penguin Box. I modified the SVG to simply make a back for the penguin and made it into a folded card vs a box. From start to finish this card took less than 15 minutes. The longest part of the project with the actual cutting. I used scraps of cardstock from my stash. I have had my problems with "white" pens. I have tried them all. They work the day I buy them, and the next time I try...nothing! I purchased some Acrylic Paint Pens by Artistro and I think I may have my new go to white pen (for adding details to eyes, etc.

Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge December 2020
Another year is coming to a close at Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge. For December's Challenge, I had to make a Christmas Card and say "Merry Christmas" to everyone. I used 4 different patterned papers for this challenge - snow, evening sky, scarf, and nose. The background paper had some beautiful silver stars and a crescent moon, but the metallic paper doesn't photograph well for me. I used my Cricut and an SVG file from My Scrap Chick called. "Snowman's Wonderland." The papers are all from my stash aka Hoard.
