I first stamped the trees birch trees with Versafine Black. Next, I stamped a row of background trees by Tim Holtz in Sage Distress Ink. Using Distress Inks (Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Vintage Photo, Sage) and water I painted the background trees, birch, and sky. I used a snow marker texture pen for the snow. I added a sentiment and taped the image on the front of the card. I used Ranger’s Tim Holtz Watercolour cardstock

Crafty Hazelnut’s Christmas Challenge 464 – use some glitter
This week at CHNCC we are looking for Glitter. I chose to stamp 2 funny little snowmen from Paper Smooches called Swanky Snowdudes. I coloured them with Copics, then painted white glue on top of the snowmen and added fine glitter. Note: I add a small bit of water to the glue so it spreads evenly. I also used some glittery snowflake stickers and backed the image on cardstock with glitter on it.

Crafty Hazelnut’s Patterned Paper Challenge – November 2019
For this month’s card, I decided to go very simple. I used a beautiful floral die-cut and backed it with a patterned paper. I was not overly fond of this paper, but in contrast with the bright white foreground, I think the results are wonderful.
I made 4 cards, 2 with patterned backing, two with solid. I find the patterned paper cards look softer, more romantic. I am also showing the different ways you can use the die.
I look forward o see what patterned papers you are using this month.
Tip: If you have patterned paper you be not like (and it not double-sided) use it for making envelopes.
