Braxton's Ducky

I have made my goddaughter's children all a 3D picturescape, so when it came to Braxton's (a one-year-old boy who loves Ducks) I made a duck. I used 3 different SVG files to make my image. I started by making a simple black frame 10.5 x 10.5" to fit inside the 12 x 12 shadow box frame. Next, I created the adorable duck with an SVG from My Scrap Chick. I cut him out and layered him uses 3D foam tape and layered him both behind and in front of the black frame. I added the bullrushes SVG from Cricut Access, and finally using vinyl, I mirrored the SVG sentiment from Etsy and attached it to the back of the glass.

This is a screenshot of my created design in Cricut's Design Space.

Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge 483 - include a star or two or more

This week at Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge, the Design Team is looking for a project with a star or two or more! I made a series of 3 large cards (watch for them in future challenges). I used an adorable Nativity Bundle from My Scrap Chick. I cut out the images using my Cricut Explore Air. I inked the edges of the cuts with Distress Inks. The Starry night background with from card stock from my stash. The actual card is 8.5 by 11 and has the Christmas Story printed inside. I made the series for my grandchildren and the figures can all be removed to let the kids set up their own scenes.

Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge 481 - No Patterned Paper

This week at Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge we are looking for a Christmas project without using patterned paper. I decided to use an Encaustic Wax Painting I created. I added a birch tree die cut and a red cardinal from Memory Box. The sentiment is from Papertry Ink.

Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge 480 - Santa Claus/Father Christmas

This week at Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge we are looking for a Christmas project featuring Santa Claus. I used an SVG file from my favourite SVG company, Dreaming Tree and this design is currently available for free. It is called Santa Wine Bottle Wrapper. It comes with a fabulous how-to video. I used my Cricut Explore Air, card stock from my stash, a sparkly pom pom, Stickles, and Distress ink to highlight the edges of the cuts. The SVG files come with the bell gift tag as well.
Join us weekly and we will help you build your Christmas card stash for 2020.
