Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge October 2020

This month's Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge. I decided on a Halloween/Fall theme. Nothing says fall like a pumpkin and Halloween like a black cat! I made this adorable box card (folds flat) with my Cricut Explore Air and the SVG file from My Scrap Chick "Cat and Pumpkin Box Card." I used patterned paper from my stash for the cat, pumpkin, and leaf.  The stamped sentiment and cat on the card back is for SSS called, "Hey Pumpkin."

This week at Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge we are looking for a card with something that starts with S. I recently purchased a new SVG file from My Scrappy Chick called Gnome Cycle, and he was perfect - Santa and Scooter! I used card stock from my stash and a sentiment from Penny Black.

Crafty Hazelnut’s Christmas Challenge 442 – non-traditional Christmas

CHNC blog button DT
Normally when you think of Christmas colours, you automatically think red and green, gold and silver.  I have made some pretty wild Christmas cards but today I was thinking soft pink. I used a fabulous SVG file called, Blue Christmas (I swapped out pink paper for blue) by A Little Scrap of Heaven. I add some detail to the snow, I embossed the snow banks and snowman with a snowflake embossing folder from my collection.

Crafty Hazelnut’s Christmas Challenge 440 – include a bear

CHNC blog button DT
I have collected bears all my life. It all started when my brother (who was 8 years older than me) gave me his own panda bear stuffy when I was born. He also called me Pooh or Bear! When I think of Christmas I fondly remember my brother buying me special Christmas bears. When the CHNCC Design Team wanted a bear themed card it was easy for me to make one because I have 100′s of bear stamps, dies, stickers, digis, and SVG cut files. For today’s card, I used a new SVG I purchased from A Little Scrap of Heaven called, Ready for Christmas. I inked the edges with distress ink for added dimension.

52 Christmas Card Challenge – 52CCT18-19 – May 11th – Colours – Brown, Silver, Turquoise

I made my card that month using my Cricut Explore Air and a wonderful SVG files from A Little Scrap of Heaven called Jiggle Bell Friends. The files are sold as a bundle and I used the reindeer. All the papers are from my stash. I added highlights with a white gel pen and Copics. The snowflakes are stickers I purchased during Christmas from the Dollar Store. I added a pom-pom nose vs the SVG file one provided. The finished card is 5×7.

Simply Create Too – Challenge #149 – May 3 to May 31= AG/No Twist

1 Simply Create 2 DT
Hello everyone and welcome to Simply Create Too May’s Challenge #149 Anything Goes – No Twist. I am sorry I am late posting but I was on holidays. When it snowed here in Ontario, Canada in April, I booked a Carribean Cruise. My card is from A Little Scrap of Heaven called, Christmas Pickle. It was an SVG digital cutting file that I used with my Cricut Explore Air 2. I used cardstock from my stash and for extra dimension, I added texture to the fur around his hat with an embossing folder and details to the pickle using Copic markers. The Christmas Pickle Story was a free download from the internet (Google Search).
