This week we at 52 CCTC are trying a whole new technique to me. It is called Eraser Technique. For examples of this technique and the instruction check out the Eraser technique (here, here and here). So I started with a blank A2 card and MFT’s Snow Flurry Stencil. I secured the stencil on my craft mat using masking tape. Next, I took a piece of sandpaper and brushed an HB pencil across it making lead dust. I used a clean distress ink sponge tool by Tim Holtz and picked up the dustings and ran the tool across the stencil leaving leaded snowflakes across the card. I stamped Penny Black’s, Snowy on the card. I then erased any snowflakes that showed on the stamped area. The final step was to colour the little snowman with Tombow markers in grey tones. The only colour I used was on his cheeks. The sentiment is from SSS.
