Crafty Hazelnut’s Christmas Challenge 458 – sentiment as the focal point
This week the Crafty Hazelnut’s Christmas Challenge Design Team challenges you to make a card with the sentiment as the focal point. I used a number of different elements to this card. I started with a debossed background. Next, I used smooshed technique and die cut a frame. I used a Joy sentiment with a nativity design as the “O”. The final detail was adding a ribbon to bring the overall design together
I look forward to seeing everyone’s designs.
52 Christmas Card Throwdown Challenge – 52CCT37-19 – Sketch Challenge
Our fabulous 52 Christmas Card Throwdown Challenge DT, Branka, has designed a great sketch to inspire this week’s card. I turned the card/sentiment to fit an A2 landscape format. The stamp is by Clearly Besotted, LET’S PRANCE. I coloured the image with Copics and Distressed Ink. I used a circle die and snowflake button.

Crafty Hazelnut’s Patterned Paper Challenge – October 2019
For all our challenges here at Crafty Hazelnut’s Patterned Paper Challenge, we encourage you to use your patterned paper. All to often we card crafters have a tendency to hoard our patterned paper. For my card, I used a wonderful SVG file from Dreaming Tree Designs called For the Ladies. The sentiment is from Gina K.
I look forward to seeing your patterned paper put to good use.

Crafty Hazelnut’s Christmas Challenge 457 – 28 September for someone special
This week’s challenge at Crafty Hazelnut’s Christmas Challenge is to make a card for someone special. I have always loved Terriers. The Scottie Dog to me is the most recognized terrier silhouette. I own a little Westie. In my lifetime, I have owned an Airdale, Irish, 3 Yorkies, and now a Westie.
I designed a card for a follow terrier lovers. I used the Scottie Card SVG Jamie and Jenn Designs. The Sentiment is from Lawn Fawn.
Have fun. I look forward to seeing everyone’s project!
52 Christmas Card Throwdown Challenge – 52CCT36-19 – Technique Challenge – Easel or Tri-fold Card

This is my final challenge for September. I am ending with the Technique Challenge. There are many fabulous YouTube, Pinterest, Google tutorials about how to make an Easel or Tri-fold card. If you have any questions, please feel to contact me directly.
For my card, I broke out my Cricut and a great SVG Easel card by My Scrappy Chick called Snowman and Friend. The sentiment is from Penny Black. I inked the edges of the white cardstock on the snowman to give him a little more dimension.
I look forward to seeing everyone’s take on a multi-folded card.
